Two blocks from the fabled finish line of the Big Sur Marathon at the Mouth of Carmel Valley, you’ll find Treadmill, 3,000 square feet of the latest running, hiking and lifestyle shoes, functional sportswear and accessories.

Originally founded by serious runners for serious runners over twenty years ago, Treadmill continues to be a loyal sponsor of every running event in the area. See our annual race calendar on this website.

In June of 2003, we doubled the size of our Carmel store, allowing us to further expand our inventory of shoes, apparel and accessories for running, walking, hiking, swimming, yoga, endurance sports and outdoor adventure travel.
